Virginia law firm to host fundraiser for MS care, research
All funds will be donated to National MS Society

The law firm Kalfus & Nachman will host a special event to raise funds for multiple sclerosis (MS) research, patient care, advocacy, and increasing disease awareness.
The fundraising will be held Friday, March 28, at 1:00 p.m., in the back parking lot of Kalfus & Nachman’s building, 870 N. Military Highway, Norfolk, Virginia, and all the funds will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Kalfus & Nachman and the society are partnering to advance research, provide crucial patient resources, and advocate for those living with the disease.
“We believe in giving back to the community, and this cause is especially close to our hearts,” Paul R. Hernandez, attorney and a partner at Kalfus & Nachman, said in a press release. “Through this event, we hope to not only raise money but also increase awareness about MS and the importance of supporting those affected.”
Advancing research, care efforts
MS is a chronic disorder that affects the central nervous system, causing damage to nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms can vary from person to person, ranging from mild discomfort to severe mobility challenges. As the disease progresses, cumulative nerve damage can lead to significant disability, making daily activities increasingly difficult and often requiring ongoing care and support.
Fundraising for MS can help to advance research efforts, develop better treatments, and provide crucial resources to improve quality of life for those affected by this condition.
The afternoon will be filled with entertainment and activities, including live music, Pie the Attorneys, wherein guests can toss a pie at a lawyer, and Dunk Tank Action, where participants try their luck at dunking Kalfus & Nachman’s legal team into a water tank. Local businesses, families, and individuals are encouraged to attend, donate, or share at this family-friendly event to help make a lasting impact and contribution in the fight against MS.
